THE ARC
I spent more than 22 years in clinical healthcare before my work moved into restorative aesthetics.
Scar camouflage and cosmetic tattooing became the craft that changed the direction of my career and eventually led me to build the Skinstitute of San Diego.
Before closing the studio for our move to Spain, an increasing share of my work involved correction cases.
I was spending less time thinking about the treatment itself and more time asking what had been missed before the client ever got there.
THE QUESTIONS
The same four questions kept coming up.
What happened before this?
What was skipped?
What was sold before it was needed?
What should have come first?
UPSTREAM
The correction work kept pointing backwards. Not to a bad treatment, usually — to a decision made in the wrong order, or too soon, or without anyone looking at the whole picture.

TODAY
My family’s move to Spain gave me the opportunity to step out of hands-on practice completely.
Today, I work virtually — helping women make better decisions about scars, stretch marks, and post-procedure skin before they spend more money or lose more time.
