I assess scars the way you should have been assessed the first time.

Most people with a scar were never actually assessed — they were handed a treatment. I do the step that should come first: a professional read of your scar or skin concern, what's realistically achievable, and exactly what to do about it. Virtual consultations, worldwide.

How the work unfolds

Every scar starts with an assessment. Where it goes from there depends on what you need.

The Assessment

The Protocol

Full Advocacy

Where everyone starts. A 60-minute video conversation about your scar — what it looks like, what it feels like, how it's healing. I read it the way it should have been read the first time and send you a written plan within 48 hours.
$250

For patients ready to act on the plan. A phase-by-phase protocol built around your scar and your skin — what to do at home, what needs professional treatment, and when. When your plan calls for hands I don't have on you, I find you the right practitioner. I vet them on skill and comfort alone — never on referral fees.
Quoted privately

For patients navigating surgery or complex treatment. I stay in it with you — strategizing before the operating room, sitting in on consultations with your doctor, and coordinating the practitioners your plan requires from start to finish.

Restorative Aesthetics · Virtual Scar & Skin Consultation

Twenty-two years in clinical healthcare — a clinician in my twenties, an operator in my thirties, a founder in my forties. I trained as a dental hygienist (RDH), came up on the clinical side, then moved to the business side after my MBA — and from both chairs I saw the same thing: too much red tape, too little room to grow. Eventually I was done waiting for the system to change.

So I retrained — cosmetic tattooing, then micropigmentation and the paramedical work most clinicians never touch — and combined it with what I already knew: clinical rigor, business sense, and an eye for how skin actually heals. That became the Skinstitute of San Diego, a studio for the restoration and micropigmentation the rest of aesthetics overlooks. I closed it at its busiest, in the summer of 2026, when my family chose a life in Spain.

The work didn't close. People everywhere are healing — from surgery, lasers, injury — and almost none were ever properly assessed. I named my field restorative aesthetics: care for the patient after the operating room. My specialty is skin of color, where patients are routinely told nothing can be done for their scars — when the truth is nothing was properly looked at.

My work has appeared in Glamour, San Diego Magazine, and others. But the credential that matters most is twenty-two years of looking at healing skin and telling people the truth about it.

For Patients: A Real Assessment, Finally.

A virtual consultation is an assessment — not a treatment, not a sales call. In 30 minutes on video, I read your scar the way it should have been read the first time: type, maturity, pigment behavior, how your skin heals. Within 48 hours, you have a written assessment and a plan — what will genuinely improve at home, what needs professional treatment, and where to go for it. You can act on it anywhere, with anyone.

*Private client engagements are available by inquiry.

What to expect:

A 30-minute video consultation, from anywhere in the world

A full professional read — scar type, maturity, pigment behavior, what's realistically achievable

A written assessment and recommendation plan within 48 hours

Honest answers — including when the right move is to wait, or to do nothing at all.

Split face comparison

For Surgeons & Providers: The last mile of your outcome.

You did the hard part. Your patient's scar is how they'll remember it. I handle the part that comes after the OR — assessment, expectation-setting, and a plan — so the finish matches the surgery.

Referral is one email. Your patient books a virtual consultation, receives a written plan within 48 hours, and hears an honest read — including when the answer is reassurance rather than intervention. It reads to them as an extension of your care, because it is.

My job is to preserve and polish your work with:

  1. Post-surgical scar assessment at any stage of maturation

2. Skin-of-color expertise — the patients most often told 'nothing can be done

3. Written plans your patient can follow anywhere — no poaching, no procedures sold
